We are back after a long winter break and ready to get our art on! We started with Pop Art tiles. We used Sharpie markers, and followed Pinterest instructions for heat setting in an oven at 350 degrees for 30 mins. We got some awesome results, though it's not as permanent as Pinterest would leave you to believe.
The top tile uses a grid method which was one of the ways we learned to create a Pop Art style. While the bottom tile is expressive with colored lines to create detail & fill in were you might have a solid color.
Pop Art is sometimes hard to define. It's like self expression that we share through our art.
Our class is pretty big this time! Some of us did more than one tile, and they all came out totally different.
