Crochet Impossible! By Carie S.
This project was crocheting. We were supposed to crochet amigurumis (crocheted 3-d objects), and make them in the shape of fruits or vegetables.
We ended up with a creamsicle, two fortune cookies, a pepper, and a carrot. But some of us couldn't seem to get the hang of the foods.
So Martha put together a project where we all just crocheted chains, then we put them onto a piece of posterboard , which turned out to make a quote. The quote is "Life and art are inseparable" said by crochet artist Olek. It turned out really good. I personally designed it.
Everyone contributed pieces to it, so our entire art lounge created a work of art as a team.

Photo Spiva Kids review by Jake Christmas
Photo Spiva Kids looks like a great class! After looking at these amazing shots done by kids from ages four to eight, I've narrowed down my choices.
The bridge piece is made by Reece Madole, age seven. She uses perspective and shading to create a unique shot.
My other pick is the forest scene by Natalie Greer, age six. The shadowed forest shades a young girl and a relative as he carries her through the woods. A loving, thoughtful piece that can bring back memories of a younger time. Both are great works of art and trust me when I say I had a hard time choosing only two!
